Everyone wants the one thing they can't have. Except Evie, who wants two things.

Evie Ballenger has been living life to the bare minimum since retiring her heart horse. She's convinced herself that's enough, but when she gets a shot at an event horse which could rocket her into the big-time she always dreamed of, our ambitious horse girl can't leave well enough alone!

Plunged into the world of famous grump/trainer Malcolm Horsham, she stumbles over and over in her pursuit of riding glory...and the man who keeps slipping up and showing her his softer side.

Didn’t read it yet!

Whenever you write a new book in any of your series, I always begin the series from the first book. Right bow I am into Alex/Al xander series. Once I’m down I will start the Ocala Girls and I will be sure to send my review of the The Regift Horse!

The Regift Horse

If you like stories surrounding horses, strong characters and a good story line, you've found the right series and author... though this is book 3 and you might want to begin with The Project horse which is book one in the Ocala Horse Girls series!

The author, Natalie Keller Reinert has written multiple stand alone earlier series that are amazing reads and in her Briar Hill Farm and Ocala Horse Girls Series the characters interact. As I have read all the books in every series, it is like having old friends visit.

In the Regift Horse Evie is living in a comfortable rut, living in her own trailer, working with the horses at her friend's racing barn and looking out her window at her beloved Eventing horse, who has become a friend and lawn ornament due to a permanent injury. Though she is content with her life, with the injury of her horse she has given up her dream of becoming a top level Eventing rider - until she gets an incredible Christmas top level (re)gift horse from her cousin. The only catch is that she has to train with a notoriously negative, yet gorgeous trainer. She upends her life to go for her dreams and the reader gets to find out whether she will soar, or flop in her attempt to become a top level rider.

A fabulous read and addition to this series!

Loved this book. I think it’s my favorite of the series though each and every one is wonderful. I find the characters and situations so relatable.

The Regift Horse

I loved the book! The characters were interesting and fun, It was another chance to experience and learn about a part of the horse world I don’t get to live in. It’s always fun also to catch up with some characters from Natalie’s other books.

love it!

What a fun next installment in the series! We've gotten snippets of Evie in other books, but she was in the background as the others stories have unfolded, and now it's her turn. You get a chance to see what she's made of, and what really makes her tick. She also makes me laugh cause I can see myself having some of the clumsy adventures she has along the way as she jumps into her working student role.

Binge a favorite series!

The Eventing Series is one of the bestselling equestrian fiction series of the past ten years! Mentioned in Horse Illustrated, Horse & Style, and more.
